His Royal Highness the Duke of Cambridge visited Oxford on 3rd October to officially open Keble’s new H B Allen Centre.

Oxford VR were delighted to be invited along by Oxford Sciences Innovation (OSI) to showcase our immersive therapy.

Barnaby Perks, Polly Haselton and Hannah Mullan had the honour of meeting the Duke of Cambridge. During the exchange, a demonstration of the virtual reality technology was shared with Prince William.

Oxford VR showcased the gameChange program, a new virtual reality treatment for people living with psychosis.

Psychosis is a serious mental health disorder which can affect individuals’ thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Led by the University of Oxford and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford VR are an integral collaborator in gameChange, a £4 million project funded by the UK National Institute of Health Research (NIHR).

Oxford VR are thankful to OSI for the fantastic opportunity to share our mental health technology with Prince William.
